Citizens Advisory Committee
The Citizens Advisory Committee gives residents a direct voice in regional transportation decisions. The Committee reviews draft plans before Board action and advises on public engagement.
- Regular schedule
- Quarterly, on the fourth Tuesday of March, June, September, and December at 6:00 p.m.
- Membership
- 15 residents appointed by the Board to two-year terms, including seats reserved for older adults, people with disabilities, youth, and transit riders.
- Authority
- Established by Board Resolution 2004-09 to meet federal public participation requirements.

Serve on the Citizens Advisory Committee
Applications for terms beginning January 2027 will be accepted October 1 through November 13, 2026. Residents of any of the four counties may apply. Members commit to four evening meetings per year and receive a transit pass or mileage reimbursement for meeting attendance.
